CURRENT WORK

The idea of compassionate coexistence runs through my work — the belief that protection, tenderness, and family can transcend species, and that even the wildest, most formidable creatures can choose gentleness. So much of what we think we know about hierarchy in the animal kingdom is really just a reflection of our own limited vantage point, what we've witnessed, what we've been taught to expect, and not necessarily the truth. Rooted in my own journey through loss and rediscovery, the fawn recurs throughout my work as a quiet stand-in for vulnerability itself and here, held safe within an unlikely circle of guardians, she becomes a portrait of what it means to be cared for, fully, by something larger than yourself.

I hope these pieces spark a little curiosity in anyone who spends time with them. A willingness to wonder what else might be possible, beyond the stories we've already decided are true.
